MINIMUM QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply chain, Business Administration and any other related Business training. Master degree in Business Administration is an advantage.
- At least five(5) years’ experiences in both local and international purchases preferable in a busy Manufacturing environment preferable Cooking Oil and Soap Manufacturing environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Forecast procurement needs based on production requirements and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Source, evaluate, negotiate with, and develop reliable suppliers while managing supplier performance.
- Manage tenders, purchase orders, contracts, deliveries, returns, and replacement of defective materials.
- Monitor procurement budgets, analyse spend, negotiate competitive prices, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Track total/landed cost of raw materials and spare parts, including purchase, transport, and related costs.
- Identify supply chain risks, monitor market trends, and develop alternative suppliers to minimise disruptions.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Sales, Logistics, Finance, Management and other related departments to support efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate procurement, invoice, delivery, stock, and supplier records.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
