The IT Manager will lead the Company’s IT operations, infrastructure, systems, networks and information security. The role is responsible for ensuring secure, reliable and scalable technology that supports Lend Plus’s digital lending operations, regulatory obligations and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy & Infrastructure
- Develop and implement the Company’s IT strategy in line with business objectives and growth plans.
- Oversee all IT infrastructure- servers, networks, cloud systems, and core lending/loan management platforms- ensuring high availability and performance.
- Work closely with Group IT teams to implement technology solutions, system integrations, upgrades, network improvements, automation and other strategic IT initiatives.
2. Network Administration & Connectivity
- Design, configure, and maintain the Company’s LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and internet connectivity across all office locations.
- Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilisation, and uptime; troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and network security devices.
- Maintain network documentation (topology diagrams, IP schemas, configurations) and plan network capacity ahead of expansion.
- Liaise with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and telecom vendors on connectivity SLAs, faults, and outages.
3. Systems & User Administration
- Manage day-to-day user account administration: onboarding and offboarding in line with HR clearance procedures.
- Provide or directly handle first- and second-line IT support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues raised by staff.
- Administer and maintain servers, and office IT equipment.
- Install, configure, and update software and security patches across Company devices.
- Maintain an IT asset register and manage equipment issuance and return.

4. Cybersecurity & Data Protection
- Ensure IT systems, network security, and data handling practices meet CBK requirements for digital credit providers.
- Implement and enforce access controls, encryption, MFA, and endpoint security across all systems and devices.
- Lead incident response for any breach, system compromise, or fraud-related IT incident.
- Support internal and external IT audits and maintain compliance documentation.
5. Vendor Management
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance for infrastructure products and services.
- Lead negotiations to optimize costs and service quality.
- Manage budgets and ensure optimal utilization of resources
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in IT management, systems administration, or network engineering, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment.
- Professional certifications preferred: CNA/CCNP (networking), CompTIA Network+/Security+, ITIL, or equivalent.
