Who can Apply?
We are looking for talented young individuals to join our Nairobi office. The selection criteria for the ideal candidates is provided below:
- Bachelor’s degree holder (or candidate), with excellent academic qualifications
- Relevant experience: A background in financial analysis, investment banking, equity research or private equity
Strong research and quantitative skills, to conduct in-depth analysis on companies, sectors, geographies as well as benchmarking analysis - Great analytical and evaluative skills: Understanding of financial modelling and valuation competencies
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint Exceptional attention to detail
Driven, self-motivated individual who shows initiative and is a team player - Pursuit of CFA qualification is a plus
Roles & Responsibilities
Key roles and responsibilities of the Investment Interns will include the following:
- Conducting macroeconomic, capital markets and industry research
- Supporting the Kuramo investment team in drafting investment documents for internal audiences
- Supporting the Kuramo investment team in preparing financial models and valuation analysis
- Supporting the Kuramo investment team with portfolio management activities
- Supporting the Kuramo investment team in ad-hoc and operational assignments
