Welder
Requirements
- Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Possess basic knowledge of welding and metal fabrication.
- Have basic technical knowledge or technical school training in welding, metalwork or a related mechanical field.
- Be able to identify commonly used welding tools, equipment and materials.
- Understand basic workshop safety procedures and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Be able to communicate basically in English and understand simple technical instructions.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced welders or supervisors.
- Have basic knowledge of different welding processes, such as Arc Welding (SMAW), MIG and TIG welding.
- Be able to communicate effectively in basic English.
