Our client, a growing Internet Service Provider (ISP) based in Kiambu County, is looking for a Technical Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day coordination of its technical and operations functions.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, computer-literate and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where administrative work is closely linked to technician schedules, customer service requests, service records and operational follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update technical and customer records, including installation, service and maintenance information.
  • Coordinate technician schedules and assist with the daily allocation and follow-up of technical assignments.
  • Monitor service requests and follow up on pending tasks to ensure timely resolution.
  • Update internal systems and CRM records with accurate customer and service information.
  • Receive and respond to routine customer and internal enquiries through calls, email and other communication channels.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly administrative and operational reports.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records for technical and customer-related documentation.
  • Assist in tracking equipment, installation materials and other technical requirements.
  • Coordinate communication between customers, technicians and the office to support smooth service delivery.
  • Support general office administration and other operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration, Information Technology, ICT or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in administration, office support, operations coordination or a similar role.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience using a CRM, ERP or other business management system will be an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and follow up consistently.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with a technical/operations team and learning basic ISP-related processes.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be based in or around Kabete, Kiambu County, or be willing to relocate.
