The FP&A Manager owns 4G Capital’s planning, forecasting and management reporting cycle. The role delivers timely, accurate and insightful monthly management accounts for the Board, ExCo and department heads; leads the annual budget and quarterly forecasts across our UPIA and KUZA products in Kenya and Uganda; and acts as a trusted business partner to leadership on performance, cost control and investment decisions. The role will also update the 5-year financial model, build models for new country entry, and use AI and automation to raise the speed and quality of finance insight. This is a highly analytical role that calls for expert modelling, systems and AI skills, precision, commercial judgement, compelling Board-level presentation, and confident stakeholder management.

🔎 DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally within fintech, lending or financial services.
- CPA(K) or ACCA qualification and a relevant bachelor’s degree.
- Exceptional Excel financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting expertise.
- Strong financial systems capabilities, including FP&A/EPM tools, Power BI and data analytics.
- Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude to automate and elevate financial analysis.
- The commercial acumen, confidence and storytelling ability to influence senior stakeholders and Board-level decisions.
