We’re seeking applications for two Research Associates to join our collaborative research team working on food system models for the Kenya Interactive Food System.
As a Research Associate, you will contribute to the development of food system models for the Kenya Interactive Food System project. You’ll work closely with colleagues across SNi®, the Riddet Institute, Massey University – Te Kunenga ki Pürehuroa, and international research partners to generate high-quality, impactful research.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience using R for data management, analysis, modelling, and visualisation
- Experience working with large datasets, including survey, experimental, census, and/or GIS data
- A relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor’s degree or higher) and at least three years’ relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- An interest in science, nutrition, sustainability, and food systems research
- The ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary and international research teams
