Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/ Diploma in Telecommunication, Electrical & Electronics, Civil Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in tower erections, RF/BTS installation power systems, network optimization.
- Relevant experience in telecommunications infrastructure, network rollout and site development
- Strong understanding of fiber network and concepts.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage site acquisition, civil designs, foundations, fencing, drainage, access roads, construction quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise tower erection, structural inspections, load testing, painting, aviation lighting, audits, and reinforcement.
- Lead installation and commissioning of BTS/RF equipment, antennas, feeders, and transmission systems while ensuring vendor standards are met.
- Oversee AC/DC systems, generators, batteries, solar and hybrid power solutions, with emphasis on safety and energy efficiency.
- Drive improvements in network coverage, capacity, and service quality using performance analysis, drive tests, and KPI improvement plans.
- Manage equipment swaps, network upgrades such as 2G/3G to 4G/5G, and decommissioning of legacy equipment.
- Design and oversee IBS/indoor coverage deployments, coordinating with building owners and stakeholders.
- Manage preventive and corrective maintenance, fault resolution, escalations, SLAs, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
- Coordinate civil, RF, power, and IT teams while managing budgets, timelines, risks, vendor performance, and management reporting.
