We’re looking for our next Packhouse QA Manager
Lead quality assurance across our packhouse floor, ensuring every consignment of herbs, vegetables and flowers meets certification and export standards before it leaves Solai, Nakuru.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee quality control, grading and inspection across the packhouse floor
- Ensure compliance with GlobalG.A.P., HACCP and export market standards
- Lead internal audits and prepare the site for certification audits
- Investigate and resolve quality non-conformances and customer complaints
- Train and supervise QA/QC staff on standards and procedures
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Food Science, Agriculture or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ QA experience in a packhouse or export horticulture setting
- Working knowledge of GlobalG.A.P., HACCP, BRC or similar standards
- Meticulous record-keeping and strong attention to detail
- Confident leading and training a QA team
