KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- ⦿ Develop and implement monitoring frameworks and systems.
- ⦿ Collect, collate, and analyze program data for performance measurement.
- ⦿ Prepare M&E reports, dashboards, and donor compliance outputs.
- ⦿ Support program teams in integrating M&E into program design and delivery.
- ⦿ Conduct field visits to monitor program implementation and collect beneficiary feedback.
- ⦿ Ensure compliance with donor requirements for monitoring and reporting.
- ⦿ Conduct routine data quality assessments (DQAs) and audits.
- ⦿ Maintain centralized databases and repositories for M&E activities.
- ⦿ Provide logistical and administrative support for research, learning and dissemination events.
- ⦿ Train staff and fellows on M&E tools and practices.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- ⦿ Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, data management or related field.
- ⦿ Minimum 4 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation or related field.
- ⦿ Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- ⦿ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, digital M&E tools and data management systems.
- ⦿ Non-profit experience, especially experience with youth advocacy, youth development work and programming.
- ⦿ Solid knowledge of project cycle management and demonstratable skills in monitoring and evaluation.
- ⦿ Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain relationships with target communities, government officials, partners, donor agencies, peers, and leaders at all levels.
- ⦿ Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- ⦿ Good understanding of and experience in advocacy and stakeholder engagement.
- ⦿ Good communication skills and fluent command of written and spoken English and Kiswahili.
