Umoja Microfinance is hiring Loan Officers across Uganda. No work experience needed. Umoja is looking for fresh graduates and diploma holders who are ready to learn, resilient and keen to build a career.
As a Loan Officer you’ll work directly with small business owners in your community. You’ll get to know their businesses, assess loan applications, and support clients with repayments. It’s a role where you’re out meeting people in the community, not sitting behind a desk all day.
What you’ll build:
A practical understanding of how small businesses run
Skills in credit assessment, managing a client portfolio and building relationships
A foundation you can grow from in operations or management in the future.

Integrity, organisation, resilience, positive attitude, ambition, great people skills and a willingness to work in any of our branches all across Uganda
