ABOUT THE ROLE
The ICT Officer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our ICT systems and infrastructure, providing technical support, troubleshooting issues and contributing to the digital transformation of the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide day-to-day technical support to end users (hardware, software and network).
- Maintain and monitor ICT systems, network and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ICT issues in a timely manner.
- Support system upgrades, backups and data security.
- Assist with ICT projects and digital initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ICT policies, procedures and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years experience in an ICT support or similar role.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Office 365 and networking concepts.
- Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA, Microsoft or Cisco will be an added advantage.
