Financial Controller

Sysmex South Africa (SSA) seeks to employ Financial Controller whose main role is to be responsible for implementing company strategies as agreed with the Finance Manager Sysmex South Africa. The role is to also ensure the organisations financial health by overseeing all financial planning and analysis activities & to provide financial analysis and insight to all relevant stakeholders to help them achieve their financial and business objectives.

We are seeking a self-managing, self-starter and motivated individual who has strong analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills. An individual who also has the ability to lead and communicate effectively. Essentially a individual who has a broad understanding of financial principles and the ability to manage teams, budgets, and financial strategies. Interested?

Key Job Responsibilities
• Management Accounting and Business Support
• Assisting Management team with deal calculations – sales projections, profitability, etc.
• Monitoring of Accounts Receivables & DSO calculations, including sharing customer statements and ensuring timeous payment receipts
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Monthly Sales & S&GA Forecasts
• Preparation & sharing of monthly Departmental Cost Centre reports
• Preparation of payment proposals in conjunction with SSA Accounts Payable team
• SOP drafting and maintenance
• Gatekeeper for internal and external audits
• Working closely with SSA Finance team to execute matrix responsibilities
• Assisting the SSA Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks Candidate Requirements and Competencies:

• Post Graduate Diploma in Management

• Bachelor of Accounting Degree

• 5+ years Financial Controlling experience
