Pam Golding Properties Kenya has been part of the Pam Golding Properties group since 2011, working across residential sales, rentals, commercial real estate and property management in Nairobi and on the Kenyan coast. We are a fast-moving, dynamic business, and our Finance Manager sits at the center of it.
About the Role
Are you the finance leader who keeps a growing business accurate, compliant and one step ahead? This is a senior role for someone who can step in, take ownership quickly, and build on a strong foundation left by a long-serving predecessor.
Responsibilities
What you will own
- Financial reporting: accurate month-end, quaterly and year-end accounts, and clear figures that management can make decisions on.
- Payroll: timely, accurate and fully compliant, including all statutory deductions filed with accuracy.
- Commission and landlord payments: prepared carefully and on time.
- Insurance and licensing: kept current and well managed.
- Your team: leading, developing and growing a team of finance professionals.
- Partnership: working closely with the General Manager and the Managing Director as a trusted adviser.
Qualifications
- A Finance Manager with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar senior role.
- CPA(K) qualified or equivalent, and an ICPAK member.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in finance.
Required Skills
- Conversant with Kenyan payroll, tax and statutory requirements.
- Someone who has built and led a finance team, not only managed one.
- Calm under deadlines, precise with numbers, and discreet with sensitive information.
- Proficient with Tally Accounting Software.
- Experienced in real estate, property management or another similar model business (an advantage).
