WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Execute electrical repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot electrical machinery and provide diagnostic support.
Repair electrical and electronic equipment following breakdowns. - Complete assigned job cards and work orders within set timelines.
- Carry out maintenance in line with established procedures.
- Support achievement of agreed Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
targets. - Maintain a safe working environment and support statutory, regulatory and safety compliance.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
-
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- At least 2 years experience as an Electrical Technician in plant operations, including 1 year in an FMCG environment.
- Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED:
Teamwork, analytical and problem-solving ability, attention to detail, communication skills, planning and organisation, and flexibility.
ADDED ADVANTAGE: Ability to drive and possession of a valid driving licence will be an added advantage.
PLEASE NOTE: The successful candidate may be required to work in shifts and/or over weekends depending on operational requirements.
