AUTOMOBILE ELECTRICIAN
FOR PLANT & LIGHT VEHICLES (WORKSHOP)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical faults involving wiring, lighting systems, batteries, alternators, starters, fuses, relays and other electrical components.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicle electrical systems.
Inspect, test and repair electronic components and systems.
Install, repair and replace the vehicle electrical accessories and components.
Perform electrical tests and functional checks after repairs to ensure that all systems operate correctly and vehicies are safe for use.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, faults identified, repairs completed, spare parts used and outstanding maintenance requirements and promptly report major defects to the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• A Diploma or Degree in Automobile Electrical Engineering, Automobile & Power Engineering or related field
