Join the legal desk behind The Great Rift Valley Retreat and New Agrodeal Kenya Limited, handling land, contracts and compliance across a working farm, an export business and a retreat, all from Solai, Nakuru.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts with customers, suppliers and land buyers/investors
- Handle land matters: title verification, conveyancing, subdivision and transfers
- Ensure compliance with Kenyan laws on agriculture, exports, labour, land and corporate governance
- Manage dispute resolution and liaise with regulators and authorities
- Advise management on legal risk across both companies
Qualifications
- Intelligent, creative and committed person
- LLB and admission to the Bar in Kenya, in good standing
- Minimum 3 years experience, with land law expertise required
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Agribusiness, real estate or export trade experience is an added advantage
- High ethical standards, able to manage multiple matters independently
