MAURITIUS – AFRICA SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME (MASS) 2027
The Ministry is in receipt of communication from the Embassy of the Republic of Mauritius in Addis Ababa informing of the above scholarship scheme for 2027 academic year with a call for applications from interested scholars.
Eligibility:
Undergraduate
Applicant should meet the following requirements:
1. Must have a minimum of 2 Principal passes at “C” in the essential subjects at UACE.
2. Should be above 18 years and should not have reached their 26th birthday by 01 January 2028.
3. Must have an admission for a full-time on campus program at a Public University in Mauritius or a receipt of payment of the application fee from their choice of University in Mauritius.
Postgraduate/Masters and PhD
1. Graduated with Bachelor degree of at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) for Masters
2. Have Master’s degree for PhD
3. Applicants for Masters and PhD should not have reached 40 years by 01 January 2028.
4. Must have an admission for a full-time on campus program at a Public University in Mauritius or a receipt of payment of the application fee from their choice of University in Mauritius.

Applications and all supporting documents should be submitted to the Consulate of the Republic of Mauritius Suite 15, Cargen House, Plot 13A – Kampala before 28th February 2027.
