WE’RE HIRING: ACCOUNTS MANAGER

At Oncera Pharmaceuticals Limited, we’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Accounts Manager to take charge of our finance function as we continue to grow.
We’re looking for someone who understands that accounting goes beyond balancing books. You should be able to manage cash flow, keep statutory obligations in check, maintain accurate stock valuations, and ensure customers pay on time.
What you’ll be responsible for:
– Managing the company’s full set of accounts and monthly financial reconciliations.
– Preparing monthly management accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts and financial reports.
– Overseeing customer invoicing, receivables, credit control and debt collection.
– Ensuring timely KRA compliance, including iTax, eTIMS, VAT, PAYE and other statutory obligations.
– Managing inventory accounting, import costing, foreign currency transactions and supplier payments.
– Processing payroll and coordinating annual audits.
– Developing and enforcing sound financial controls, policies and procedures.
What we’re looking for:
– Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
– CPA (Kenya) qualification and ICPAK membership in good standing.
– At least 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, including managing a full set of books.
– Proven experience in credit control and debt collection.
– Strong working knowledge of KRA compliance, eTIMS and statutory deductions.
– Experience with cloud accounting systems and excellent Excel skills.
– A high level of integrity, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
*Bonus points if you have experience in pharmaceutical distribution, medical supplies, imports or FMCG.
