To ensure that raw materials, production processes and finished products meet required quality, food safety and regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect and test incoming raw materials, packaging materials, work-in- progress and finished products.
  • Conduct routine quality and laboratory tests and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with product specifications, GMP and HACCP requirements.
  • Conduct production-line, hygiene and sanitation inspections.
  • Identify, report and assist in resolving quality deviations and non-conforming products.
  • Monitor and document Critical Control Points (CCPs) and other quality parameters.
  • Assist with investigations of customer complaints, product defects and corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper calibration of equipment’s.
  • Ensure proper use of quality-control and laboratory equipment.
  • Support internal/external audits and compliance with food safety requirements.
  • Develop SOPs and check lists.
  • Develop KLds for packing materials.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
