Position: Food & Beverage Supervisor
Holiday Inn Nairobi Two Rivers Mall is seeking a dynamic, passionate and guest-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations of restaurants, bar, banqueting and other F&B outlets.
- Lead, coach and motivate the F&B team to deliver exceptional guest service.
- Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, presentation and product quality.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Conduct daily briefings and effectively coordinate team activities.
- Monitor staff performance, deployment and service standards.
- Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards,
HACCP, food safety, health and safety requirements. - Monitor stock, inventories, wastage and departmental cost controls.
- Support F&B promotions, revenue initiatives and achievement of departmental targets.
- Coordinate effectively with the Kitchen and other hotel departments.
- Assist the F&B Manager with reporting, scheduling training and other administrative duties.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Higher Diploma in Food & Beverage
Management, Hospitality Management or a related field. - Minimum 3 years’ relevant F&B experience, preferably in a supervisory role within a reputable hotel.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent guest service and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, inventory and cost-control procedures.
- High level of professionalism, integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Previous experience in an international/IHG hotel environment will be an added advantage.
