MITSUMI Distribution is looking for a proactive and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruitment across our IT, Telecommunications, Value Distribution and Enterprise Technology businesses in Africa.
This is a hands-on recruitment role for someone who can independently identify, approach and assess strong commercial and technical talent across multiple African markets.
OPEN POSITION:
TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST (AFRICA) – NAIROBI, KENYA
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from understanding the hiring requirement to offer acceptance and onboarding coordination
- Proactively source candidates through Linkedin, job portals, referrals, professional networks and market talent mapping
- Recruit for sales, channel, product management, presales, solution architecture, technical and corporate positions
- Conduct initial screening interviews and prepare clear candidate assessment reports
- Coordinate interviews, feedback, compensation discussions, reference checks and candidate documentation
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future vacancies across Africa
- Maintain an accurate recruitment tracker and provide regular progress reports
- Partner with hiring managers to understand technical, commercial and operational recruitment requirements
- Ensure candidates receive timely and professional communication throughout the recruitment process
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of hands-on talent acquisition or recruitment experience
- Demonstrated ability to proactively source candidates rather than relying only on incoming applications
- Experience recruiting within IT, ICT, telecommunications, technology, engineering or related sectors
- Experience recruiting across multiple African markets will be an advantage
- Strong working knowledge of Linkedin Recruiter, job portals and direct-search techniques
- Ability to understand and recruit for both technical and commercial positions
- Excellent interviewing, communication, organization, reporting and follow-up skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
- IHRM membership or relevant HR professional certification will be an advantage
