Attain Enterprise Solutions is looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation, administration and optimisation of secure, reliable and scalable IT infrastructure for Attain and its clients.
What you’ll be responsible for
Design, deploy and manage enterprise IT infrastructure and systems
Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments
Design and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure and hybrid-cloud environments
Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, VLANs, routing and switching
Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
Support Intune, endpoint security and identity/access management
Manage virtualisation, storage, backup and disaster recovery
Lead or support infrastructure implementation and technology projects
Provide technical support to clients and mentor junior team members
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field
5+ years’ hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration
Strong practical experience with Azure, Windows Server and/or Linux
Solid networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing and switching
Practical experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
Understanding of cybersecurity, IAM and endpoint security
Strong troubleshooting skills and excellent client-facing communication
Willingness to travel to client sites when required
Certifications are a plus: Azure | Microsoft 365/Entra | CCNA/CCNP | Network+/Security+ | Linux | VMware | Cybersecurity
