Halisi Family Hospital is a private hospital located in Kitengela, Kajiado County. The 27-bed facility offers 24-
hour Outpatient and Inpatient Healthcare Services. Our mission is to serve and care for families by providing
quality health and wellness.

Role Summary
Provide high quality health and wellness services to all patients and their families through provision of evidence-
based clinical care and through continuous improvement in quality, patient safety and customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations for diagnosing and treating patients and provide treatment
aligned with evidence-based medical practices and the clinical guidelines and protocols adopted by the
hospital.
Collaborate with medical and nursing team members to develop patients’ treatment plans, ensuring
appropriate and timely consultation with specialists and referrals to them for continuity of care and optimal
health outcomes.
Discuss all planned medical care with the patient and their registered next of kin and provide daily updates
of the patients progress.
Provide preventive and promotive wellness services to all patients and their families by educating and
counselling them.
Manage inpatient care through timely ward rounds and patient reviews in consultation and collaboration
with the medical team and specialists within our panel.
Perform medical and surgical procedures as per training and skill.
Document all aspects of patient care and maintain accurate and complete medical records.
Ensure that all patient data and information is handled with confidentiality.
Ensure excellent customer experience through high-quality clinical care and effective communication,
positively receiving feedback, effectively resolving complaints and escalating unresolved
complaints/concerns as necessary.
Participate in continuous quality and patient safety improvement (CQI) initiatives and programs including
incident reporting, root cause analysis etc.
Participate in CME, IPC, work improvement and other staff meetings when required.
Participate in health talks, outreach, wellness, and other business development activities when required.
Any other duty as assigned by your immediate supervisor in line with the job description.

Requirements
Bachelors’ Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB) from a recognized institution.
At least two (2) years of active post-internship clinical experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings
at a busy hospital, with at least one (1) year experience in inpatient practice.
Private hospital experience is an added advantage.
Registered by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board.
Valid practicing license.
Valid Professional Indeminity insurance cover.
Current certification in BLS, ACLS and ATLS from a recognized institution.
