Department Field Services Coordination
Job Purpose To coordinate and oversee the monitoring of political party activities at the
county level to ensure compliance with the Constitution, the Political Parties
Act, the Code of Conduct for Political Parties and other relevant laws, while
providing leadership, guidance and oversight to constituency-level
monitoring and reporting.
Reporting to ORPP Regional Coordinator
Duty Station ORPP Field Offices – Across Counties
Remuneration A consolidated Monthly Gross Salary of KSh. 75,000
Job Specification Duties and responsibilities
The specific duties and responsibilities will entail:
i. Monitoring the activities of political parties to ensure compliance with
the Constitution, the Political Parties Act, the Code of Conduct for
Political Parties and other relevant laws within the county of
deployment;
ii. Liaising with relevant government agencies on the implementation of
the Code of Conduct for Political Parties within the county of
deployment;
iii. Providing training and sensitization support to political parties at the
county level;
iv. Liaising with the registration department on verified political parties’
membership list;
v. Verifying membership status for aspirants;
vi. Supervising constituency monitors and consolidate monitoring reports
from the constituencies; and
vii. Preparing reports on county-level monitoring activities.

Specification
For appointment to this post, a candidate must have: –
i. A Bachelors’ degree in any of the following fields: Laws, Public
Administration, Education, Political Science or an equivalent
qualification from a recognized institution;
ii. Certificate in Computer Applications;
iii. Be a Kenyan citizen;
iv. Have analytical skills;
v. Be competent in report writing;
vi. Be willing to work anywhere within Kenya;
vii. Must be a resident of the County they wish to work; and
viii. Met the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
