JOB TITLE: ICT GRADUATE TRAINEE
REPORTS TO: ICT MANAGER
a) JOB PURPOSE
The ICT Graduate Trainee will provide technical, systems and user-support assistance while gaining practical experience in enterprise applications, infrastructure, data management and ICT service delivery.
b) MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with data preparation, validation, migration support and reconciliation under supervision.
- Support configuration, testing and documentation of enterprise applications and digital systems.
- Execute approved test cases and maintain accurate test evidence and issue logs.
- Assist with user-account preparation, access reviews and system administration tasks under supervision.
- Support system integrations, interface testing and technical troubleshooting.
- Prepare user guides, technical notes, inventories and handover documentation.
- Support user training, deployment activities and post-deployment stabilization.
- Provide first- and second-line ICT support and escalate unresolved incidents appropriately.
- Monitor assigned system checks, backups, interfaces and support queues under supervision.
- Comply with confidentiality, cybersecurity, data-protection and acceptable-use requirements.
c) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of databases, computer networks, operating systems and enterprise applications.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently under supervision and collaborate with users from different departments.
