TECHNICAL OFFICER
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN), A Bachelor’s degree in Midwifery (BScM) or KRCHN with experience of not less than five years in projects.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in implementation of MNCAH/FP programs.
- Be a registered member of MAK for more than six months.
- Understanding of the policy formulation process and regulatory procedures at national and county level.
- Demonstrated competency in MNCAH/FP service provision.
- Proficiency in Coaching and Mentorship.
- Qualification as a ToT in any of the following is desired; EmONC, IMNCI, ENC, QA/QI and FP.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that project Objective, Outputs and Activities are executed in a timely and appropriate manner to influence expected outcomes.
- Plan, Implement, Monitor, Control, and Close the Project using an agreed project management methodology.
- Manage integration and coordination of the project works for all project components according to the rules and procedures established in the Project Management Methodology and Plan and the Project Agreement,
- Develop annual work plans and budgets, and submit these to the Steering Committee (SC) for approval.
- Develop TORs for Consultants for technical services, experts, and
specifications of materials as required by the project, in consultation with the SC and the NEO.
