Reporting to the Business development and marketing Manager, the purpose of the Job is to sell Sacco liabilities and assets, recruit new members, and offer exceptional customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Answer incoming calls and respond to customers’ emails
ii. Manage and resolve customer complaints
iii. Provide product and service information to customers
iv. Research required information using available resources
v. Route/document calls to appropriate resources/departments/Branch.
vi. Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
vii. Recognize, document, and alert the management team of trends in customer calls.
viii. Follow up customer calls where necessary.
ix. Upsell/Cross-Sell products and services.
x. Manage inbound and outbound customer calls in a timely manner.
xi. Identify customers’ needs and wants, and give your best to clarify information.
xii. Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way.
xiii. Build strong relationships with customers.
xiv. Meet qualitative and quantitative targets.
xv. Respond to general marketing enquiries
xvi. Market Sacco liabilities, i.e., member accounts and savings.
xvii. Market Sacco assets, i.e., loans and credit products.
xviii. Recruit new members and provide general customer service.
xix. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
i. Degree/KNEC Diploma in Public Relations/Business Management/Marketing/Cooperative Management.
ii. Professional training in customer care.
- Proficient in relevant computer applications
- Excellent data entry and typing skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately
vi. Adaptable to different personality types
vii. Familiarity with CRM technology is an added advantage.
- Ability to multitask
ix. Attention to detail, good interpersonal & problem-solving skills.
x. Strong commitment and passion to customer service.
xi. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
xii. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
xiii. Have a minimum of two years’ practical experience in customer care in a financial institution.
