1. Garden Assistant III (CSG 15)

Number of Vacancies: Thirty (30)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Remuneration
- Basic Salary: Kshs. 19,340 – 24,470 per month
- House Allowance: Depending on area of deployment
- Commuter Allowance: Kshs. 3,000
- Leave Allowance: Kshs. 4,000 (Once yearly)
Duties and Responsibilities
This is a training grade for this cadre. Officers appointed at this level will be deployed to:
- Maintain lawns, gardens, flowerbeds, and landscaped areas
- Undertake general gardening duties within Ministry Units, State House, and State Lodges
- Perform any other related duties as may be assigned
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (Plus) or its equivalent qualification
2. Support Staff / Sanitary Cleaner (CSG 16)

Number of Vacancies: Fifteen (15)
Terms of Service: Permanent and Pensionable
Remuneration
- Basic Salary: Kshs. 18,250 – 22,720 per month
- House Allowance: Depending on area of deployment
- Commuter Allowance: Kshs. 3,000
- Leave Allowance: Kshs. 4,000 (Once yearly)
Duties and Responsibilities
This is an entry-level position. Duties will include:
- Undertaking sanitary cleaning duties in the assigned area of deployment
- Performing messengerial duties
- Carrying out any other related duties as assigned
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D (Plain) or its equivalent qualification; and
- A Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution
