Finance Officer
Aberdair Aviation, a dynamic pan-African aviation group which operates both fixed wing and helicopter aircraft from bases in East and West Africa, is looking for a qualified and experienced Finance Officer in Nairobi, Kenya.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Finance or related field
CPA Finalist
Minimum 5 years work experience preferably in an audit firm or aviation company
Experience working with accounting software
Key Responsibilities
Assisting the Head of Finance with:
- Management of accounts payables, supplier payments and petty cash including reconciliation
- Ensuring procurements are as per approved PO and requisitions
- Filing & reconciliation of WHT, WHVAT and WH-Rent returns
- Preparation of payment vouchers with subsequent proper filing & posting
- Preparation of financial documentation for audit reviews
- Preparation and review of departmental budgets and MIS data
- Management of the company’s asset register and amortization schedules
- Management of fuel and transport accounts
