Job Overview
We are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager for our Mombasa Branch. Join our team to strategically manage warehouse operations in compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board regulations.
Responsibilities
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board and company policies
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations of the warehouse
- Setup the layout and ensure efficient space utilization when there are bulk receipts and other receipts
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures in the warehouse
- Maintain acceptable standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
- Sort out customer issues associated with store (returns, damages, etc.)
- Facilitate for stock recounts
- Ensure that the physical and system stock match
- Ensure that no expiries are on the shelves
- Ensure that a record of controlled drugs is updated and consistently maintained
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma in Supply Chain Management
- Three years of experience in a pharmaceutical warehouse (MUST)
- Professional Certification in supply chain (desirable)
