Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and well organized Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in Nairobi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless coordination between growers and the market, optimizing the supply chain process, and guaranteeing timely delivery of goods. This position involves managing orders, liaising with growers, and confirming freight arrangements with our freight agent.
Grower Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact with the growers.
- Coordinate with growers to ensure a steady and reliable supply of products.
- Regularly communicate with growers to gather information on crop availability, quality, and any potential issues.
Order Management:
- Receive and process orders from the market, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and relay information to growers.
- Monitor order fulfillment, addressing any discrepancies or delays promptly.
Freight Coordination:
- Work closely with the freight agent to confirm space availability for shipments.
- Liaise with Operations department to ensure all grower delivery times are properly communicated
