Are you an energetic, goal-oriented professional with a passion for renewable energy and a drive to make a real difference? Keru Solar Limited, a leading player in East Africa’s solar industry, is seeking Sales & Marketing Officers to help grow our market share in Kenya and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of solar equipment (hybrid inverters, lithium-ion batteries, PV modules) to commercial, industrial, and residential customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels.
- Support marketing campaigns (digital and field-based) and promote product awareness across target regions.
- Follow up on leads from events, walk-ins, referrals, and digital platforms.
- Maintain customer relationships and ensure satisfaction through effective communication and support.
- Help manage the CRM system and prepare regular reports on leads, conversions, and market insights.
- Represent Keru Solar at expos, product launches, and industry forums.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Commerce, Sales, Marketing, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in sales or marketing — experience with solar products is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of lithium-ion batteries, PV systems, and hybrid inverters is a strong advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-driven, confident, and able to meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in digital tools, social media marketing, and basic CRM platforms.
