Role Overview
We’re seeking a Digital Manager to oversee our digital presence and social media accounts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of African media, cultural sensitivity, and a passion for telling authentic African stories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital strategies that align with our goals and enhance our brand presence across Africa.
- Adapt diverse content for digital platforms and create engaging social media posts.
- Manage social media accounts, edit and optimize short-form videos, and build online communities.
- Use analytics to track performance and refine strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on digital trends relevant to African audiences.
Qualifications & Skills
2+ years in digital communications, social media management, or content marketing.
• Experience editing short-form videos (e.g., reels, TikToks, shorts).
Knowledge of popular social media platforms in Africa.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creative and strategic thinker with project management abilities.
Familiarity with video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.).
Cultural awareness and respect for Africa’s diversity.
Working Conditions
- Part-time, remote position anywhere in Africa
- Flexible hours with some availability during standard business hours
- Reliable internet required; necessary digital tools provided
