Job Summary
Reporting to The Corporate Communications Manager, The Multimedia Designer will
be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing high-quality multimedia
content to support the Sacco’s brand, corporate PR, and marketing initiatives. The role
will involve creating engaging visual content, including creative design, digital
artworks, Print Artworks, GIFs, animations, Photo editing, and video production, to
enhance communication and brand presence across various platforms.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
A. Brand and Corporate Communication Support
1. Develop and execute creative multimedia campaigns to enhance the Sacco’s
brand image and corporate PR.
2. Ensure brand consistency across all digital and print communication materials.
3. Design IEC materials such as brochures, posters, infographics, banners, and
other corporate publications.
4. Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team to create engaging
visuals for social media, website content, and advertising campaigns.
B. Multimedia Content Development
1. Create high-quality digital artwork, animations, GIFs, and infographics for
various communication channels.
2. Develop motion graphics and video content for corporate storytelling,
promotions, and member engagement.
3. Conduct professional photography and videography for corporate events,
marketing campaigns, and internal communications.
4. Edit and enhance images, videos, and other multimedia assets to meet brand
standards.
C. Departmental Support and Collaboration
1. Work closely with different departments to provide creative support in
developing communication materials.
2. Design presentations, reports, and other visual assets to enhance internal and
external communication.
3. Support event branding through the creation of event banners, backdrops, and
digital assets.
D. Innovation and Trend Monitoring
1. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging multimedia technologies to
improve content creation.
2. Recommend and implement best practices in visual storytelling, digital
branding, and multimedia production.
3. Continuously explore new tools and techniques to enhance creativity and
efficiency in content development.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Animation, Film
Production or a related field.
Experience
3 years of experience in multimedia design, graphic design, or related creative roles.
Knowledge, skills and attributes
1. Proficiency in design and multimedia software, including Adobe Creative Suite
(Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, firefly).
2. Experience in photography, videography, and video editing.
3. Strong understanding of brand identity, visual storytelling, and corporate
communications.
4. Knowledge of UI/UX design principles is an added advantage.
