Internship Opportunity: Intern Geologist (Kenya)

Adimaye Geoengineering Ltd is a Kenyan mineral exploration, infrastructure, materials engineering, and environmental consultancy. We are recruiting a fresh BSC Geology (or related) graduate to join our dynamic team as an Intern Geologist on a 3 to 6-month internship.

This role combines project support work and fieldwork across Kenya, including assignments of up to one month at a time. It is ideal for a graduate who wants hands-on exposure to real projects from day one.

What you’ll do:

1. Support exploration for industrial minerals and related geological projects.
2. Assist with field mapping, sampling, data collection and geological logging.
3. Help process, analyze and synthesize geological data, including the use of GIS tools.
4. Contribute to technical report writing, daily/weekly field summaries and project documentation.
5. Support project activities, logistics, coordination of field teams and collaboration with local leadership.
6. Report directly to the Senior Geologist.

What we’re looking for:

1. B.Sc. in Geology or closely related discipline (recent graduate).
2. Familiarity with GIS tools and solid report writing and communication skills.
3. Good physical fitness and willingness to travel and work at field sites.
4. Willingness to learn, reliability and professional discipline.
